Accessibility

Overview
North Warwickshire Council for Voluntary Service takes its social responsibility role very seriously and has made every effort to ensure that this web site is accessible to all. As new solutions become available these will be evaluated and incorporated into this site at the earliest possible opportunity.

Standards Compliance
It is important to make web sites accessible to all users. Therefore this site has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 as a minimum. These guidelines are intended to make web content accessible to people with disabilities.

Access Keys
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts allowing an alternative access method to the users who are using a mouse or other pointing devices.
These have been recommended by the UK government and will be added to this web site in the near future.

Stylesheets
This website has been designed using external Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) which conform to the W3C guidelines. These can be preset ( "Visual Options") to a particular style which will load each time you access this website.

Web Browsers
Not all web browsers are equipped to handle stylesheets for example the older versions of Internet Explorer 3.x, 4.x and text only based browsers will default to a simple text display on your screen.
