The Art Fund
(National Art Collections Fund) - the UK's leading art charity gives millions to help purchase items including paintings, sculpture, coins, costumes, decorative arts, furniture, and installations.

Architectural Heritage Fund
A registered charity which helps to repair and give new life to historic buildings of every kind throughout the United Kingdom. Since 1976, it has loaned over £30m to about 400 projects, and helped many others with grants and advice.

Arts Council of England
Funding for just about anything to do with the arts.

Association of Community Foundations
Publishes information for grant-seekers and researchers, including a variety of leaflets published online.

Awards for All
A grants programme set up to help small groups, offering between £500 and £5,000. It is a joint programme supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Arts Council of England, Sport England the National Lottery Charities Board. .

British Council
Connects people worldwide with learning opportunities and creative ideas from the UK and builds lasting relationships between the UK and other countries.

Coalfields Regeneration Trust
‘The Trust runs two funding programmes offering grants of between £500 and £10,000 and £10,000 and £300,000 to groups and organisations working to benefit coalfield communities. Their funding themes are access to employment, education and skills, health and wellbeing and access to opportunities. They are able to fund both capital and revenue projects if they meet the programme criteria and benefit people in an eligible coalfield areas in North Warwickshire.

Charities Aid Foundation
A grant-making body as well as an information resource for charities and donors. Guided by an independent group of experts nominated by other voluntary organisations, the CAF Grants Council responds to applications from charities looking to increase efficiency, to develop new initiatives or simply to survive when another source of funding dries up.

Children in Need
Welcomes applications for good quality, carefully planned, projects which show a clear focus on children in order to make a positive difference to their lives.

The Big Lottery Fund
The joint operating name of the New Opportunities Fund and the National Lottery Charities Board (which makes grants under the name of the Community Fund).

Department for Culture, Media and Sport
Publishes information on the National Lottery, the good causes it supports, the distributing bodies, and the awards granted.

English Regional Arts Board
Information service for the arts and cultural sector.

Environmental Trust Scheme Regulatory Body Ltd
(ENTRUST) - the sole regulator of the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
One of the largest independent grantmaking foundations in the UK. We like to consider work which others may find hard to fund, perhaps because it breaks new ground, appears too risky, requires core funding, or needs a more unusual form of financial help such as a loan.

Heart of England Community Foundation
Formed in 1995, and now giving around £470,000 in grants per annum to charities, voluntary and community groups in Coventry and Warwickshire to help them tackle the needs of local people.

Heritage Lottery Fund
The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) enables communities to celebrate, look after and learn more about our diverse heritage. From museums and historic buildings to parks and nature reserves to celebrating traditions, customs and history, the HLF has awarded over £3 billion to projects that open up our nation's heritage for everyone to enjoy.

Lloyds TSB Foundation
A grant-making trust with the mission to support and work in partnership with charitable organisations which help people, especially those who are disadvantaged or disabled, to play a fuller role in communities throughout England and Wales.
